What do you get if you ask 28 Nordic artists about the public space?
This book gives the answer: Through pictures, tales, short stories, essays, poems and statements, thoughts and experiences of the public space are described.
All texts are original contributions, and the book covers a wide range of artist traditions as well as generations. From budding to world-renowned visual artists, architects, photographers and writers, the voluntarily driven publisher Møllegades Boghandel presents playful and imaginative ideas on what the shared space of society can mean.
Offentlighedens Rum is Publisher Møllegades Boghandel’s first release.
The book is accompanied by an exhibition with pictures and texts from the book, which is presented in collaboration with DAC and will be publicly available in BLOX until July 4th.
