Charlotte Gyllenhammar

Container, In Waiting, Reversed

May 23, 2013, Carl Eldhs Ateljémuseum, Sweden
Carl Eldh Ateljémuseum opens to the public again in late May 2013 after having been closed for six years. This year the museum also turnes 50, which among other things will be celebrated with the opening of a new room for temporary exhibitions in the museum building at the back. First up is Charlotte Gyllenhammar, who will use parts of the Eldh studio. Gyllenhammar focuses on the studio as a place of work and will highlight the many processes that have been going on there. Central to her exhibition is a work that both literally and figuratively set our notions of sculpture upside down.
