Die for you, Day and Die for you, Night are photographic works stemming from a monumental public installation by the same name. The site specific installation consisted of a 2 ton, 120-year-old tree that was suspended over Sergel’s square, in the urban heart of Stockholm. The installation was part of an exhibition entitled The Rules of the Game from 1993. The tree’s presence represents an awareness of time, gravity, memory, and transience.
